As an organisation, we attended the Pride Scotia March in Edinburgh. Cant say much about this as the Police put us through what appeared to be deserted back streets. I wasnt impressed this year at all. Maybe it will be better next year???
In complete contrast, we, all three of us, attended the Glesgay Pride March. OMG it was fabby. The march took us through all the main routes into the city, at least people actually saw us. The Sheboom group were pretty good and led us through the streets with tuneful music, and what followed was a colourful plethera of gorgeous people. Yes we were there too.....
DV8 proudly took their flag and it flew high in the parade held tightly by "the smurf". A good day was had by all 3. Next year we are hoping to get support from members and their families, so let "the smurf" know how many are going next year...maybe need a bus? or 2?

Keep the faith and love to all.

I wish to second Newt's comments. The glasgay event was how a pride march should be held. There was an amazing atmosphere, lots of drumming and dancing and wild and wonderful costumes adorned by lovely peeps. Even though the weather was unpredictable it did not dampen the spirits of those that took part in the event. Looking forward to attending next year (hopefully with more people coming through from Dundee with us!)

Cheers Newt for driving through as well

xx

I was there! I got hit by the flags at least 20 times. Some people should get some training on how to carry a flag. Now who was the person carrying the flag? Yep! It was shaun!
